Little Sock Makes a friend

The fuzzy protagonist from Little Sock returns, giving young readers another chance to venture beyond the dryer and into the magical world where all socks dream of going.

Though Little Sock loves to visit Sock City, sometimes it can be lonely, especially when it looks like everyone else has a friend.

Is it hard to make a new friend? And how does one be a good friend?

Little Sock

Little Sock is tired of his routine. Day after day, it's the same old thing. He gets worn, he gets dirty, and he gets washed. Nothing ever changes.

The other socks in the drawer don't seem to mind but Little Sock wants something different. He has heard of a place, Sock City, where everything is new and exciting, so one night he makes his escape from his drawer.

Will Little Sock reach his destination? And what will he find there?

Little Sock, Big reviews

“This was one of the most creative children’s stories I’ve read so far this year. The main character was such a brave little dude…it made him a good role model for young readers”

— LAS Reviewer

“Kids will enjoy this engaging tale of change, fueled by an odd kind of hero…”

— Donovan’s Bookshelf

“Kia’s sraightforward text is bolstered by Park’s lively illustrations that make excellent use of varying perspectives, colors, and humorous detail. The spread of the various socks in Sock City will captivate readers as they take in the variety. VERDICT: A fun answer to where missing socks go.”
